An Open Letter to All Muslims

Greeting!

Thank-you for having a healthy curiosity so as to click this tab, and for taking the time to read this letter to all my Muslim friends (whether you are currently my friend, or a future friend).  I also welcome Christians, members of all other faiths, agnostics, and atheists to read along.

I was born and raised in a Christian family, however I was far from being a zealot.  I remember my excitement at being closer to God after I was Confirmed in the Anglican Church, but for the most part, I was a cool to luke warm Christian (ie. a nominal Christian, in name only).

For the last two years, I have been intrigued by a growing awareness that we may be in End Times.  Therefore I have been studying my faith, the possible events around End Times, both of which have resulted in the significant growth of my Christian faith.

I have learned that Christianity is the largest faith on Planet Earth (31.5% of all humans, about 2.4 Billion people).  Islam is in second place (23.2%, or 1.6 Billion people).  The Muslim population is growing far more rapidly than Christian families, so Islam is projected to overtake and pass Christianity in the next 50 to 100 years if past trends continue.  Pew Research[1] has found that for United States, 23% of those who were born and raised Muslim will lose their faith and become apostate (ie. non-Muslim).  Pew has also found that 23% of Muslims were raised in a different faith, then converted to Muslim; therefore the in and out flows (conversion and apostasy) cancel each other out.

Jesus told Christians to love God with all our heart, body, & soul; and to love our neighbours as well as ourselves.  I have made significant changes in my life, orientating myself  towards my God, and towards fellow Christians.  Further improvements are ongoing.

But what of my Muslim neighbours?  How can I truly love somebody if I don’t know them or don’t truly understand them?  Therefore, as a Christian, I have been recently trying to understand Islam and Muslims as well.

I have learned that Muslims, Jews, and Christians have an interwined family history.  Muslims, Jews, and Christians believe that:
  • the Arab nation, the originators of Islam, are ancestors of Ishmael (son of Abraham);
  • the Jewish nation are ancestors of Jacob (son of Isaac, and grandson of Abraham); and
  • the Mediteranian-European nations are ancestors of Edom (son of Isaac, and grandson of Abraham).
  • The Northern-European nations are ancestors of Dan (son of Jacob, grandson of Isaac, and great grandson  of Abraham)
The commonality between Muslims, Jews, and Christians aren’t limited to genetics.  For example, geography, especially Jerusalem, is intertwined by these three religions.

The Holy Bible was written between 1300 BC and 90 AD, and is silent about Islam and the Quran (the religious text of Islam, written between 609 AD and 632 AD).   There are no Biblical prophesies that can be clearly linked to neither Mohammad nor the Quran.  However, both the Bible and Jesus warn about false prophets that will surely come after Jesus' time.

The New Testaments were written by Jesus' chosen Apostles, or by others who spoke directly to these originating sources, and was written down within 10 to 40 years after Jesus' crucifixion.  Repeated scholarly studies have shown that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, are intact and not corrupted.

The Quran speaks about Jews, Christians, Jesus Christ, Moses, Abraham, and other common historic events shared by Muslims, Jews, and Christians.

Muslims claim that:
  •  Allah (the Arabic word for god) is the only one, true God;
  •  Mohammad is the messenger (ie. prophet) of Allah;
  •  Allah has all the power and authority, and no other person, government, or organization has any authority or right that is independent from Allah.
  •  Islam is an Arabic word that means “voluntary submission” to Allah.
  •  Allah is the Arabic name for the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob;
  •  They worship the same God as Christians and Jews.
  •  The Quran was recited by Mohammad based on the teachings Mohammad received from the angel Gabriel
  •  The Quran is the Word of God, verified to be accurate, and continuously protected from being corrupted
  •  The Holy Bible is badly corrupted, and cannot be trusted as the Word of God.
  •  Jesus Christ is a Prophet of God;
  •  God is alone (ie. has no wife nor children, meaning that the Quran denies Jesus Christ as the Son of God).
  •  Jesus wasn’t crucified on the cross (ie. somebody else switched places with Jesus, and the Quran uses this to try explaining why Jesus was seen alive and walking around three days after his crucifixion).

Recent scholarly studies confirm that Mohammad was illiterate, and the  Quran was originally an oral tradition, started in 610 AM.  Mohammad died in 632 AD.  At the Jihad Battle of Yamama in 633 AD, 700 Muslims who had memorized the Quran were killed. Abu Bakr, the Islamic leader after Mohammad, subsequently ordered the collection of the hitherto scattered pieces of the Quran into one copy.  The Quran was fully canonized in 652 AD, 20 years after the death of Mohammad.  Problems were reported in 653 AD, that there were variations in the various Qurans, and variations in the meaning.  A standardized version was commanded, and all other versions were ordered to be burned.

The oldest Quran that exists today, the Sana'a manuscript, was discovered in 1981. The sheepskin velum upon which it is written has been dated to the period 632-671 AD, within 0 to 39 years after Mohammad's death.  Of course, the velum may be significantly older than the text that was subsequently written upon the velum.

If Allah is the one, true God; and if the Quran is the uncorrupted Word of God, and if the Quran is being correctly interpreted, then total voluntary submission to Islam seems reasonable to me.  Unfortunately, there are many “ifs” and assumptions in this statement.  It would also seem to be prudent than each and every one of these assumptions should be closely examined and verified as being reasonable, and fact based.

Unfortunately, some Muslims believe they shouldn’t question anything about their faith.  This is not true.  The Quran states that every Muslim should study the five principles of their religion which include Tawhid, prophethood, Imamate, justice, and the resurrection day.

Islam claims to be an Abrahamic faith, just like the Jewish and Christian faiths.  When God chose Abraham, he changed his name from Ibrahim to Abraham.  God chose Ibrahim because Ibrahim had a long history of questioning everything.  Ibrahim questioned his father, the King, and his society.  Ibrahim questioned the thousands of idols that everybody else accepted and worshipped.  Ibrahim would accept something only after he was provided sufficient objective evidence; never accepting anything at face value.

People can only truly be called to Islam with their eyes open.  Muslims must question until their heart is at peace.  Not only do people have the right to ask questions, they have a duty and responsibility to ask questions[2].

Is there a danger if people fail to question, or suspend their dis-belief?

We know that the Devil mixes his lies into a bed of truth, so as to disguise his lies, and more easily fool and deceive people.

For example, there are thousands of scam letters and emails (eg. Nigerian Princes who have inherited millions of dollars and will gladly share his fortune with you, provided you help him receive his inheritances).  Almost all scam letters and emails have significant spelling mistakes and obvious grammar errors.  These errors are purposefully introduced into the scam letters, as the scammers have learned that they can only fully deceive someone (ie. get their victim’s money) if their victims are willing to suspend dis-belief.  If someone is willing to overlook the bad spelling and grammar, there is a higher probability they will fall victim to the scam.  The bad spelling and grammar helps the scammers to avoid wasting their time and effort on potential victims who will eventually see the scam for what it is, and stop before they send money to the scammers.

If one or more of these assumptions about Islam are false, it could be the work of the Devil to mislead innocent people away from the one true God.

Christianity is defined by the Bible, and all true Christian believe all of the following 12 points:
  1.  The original Greek and Hebrew manuscripts of the Bible are complete, accurate, and true; and are the inspired Word of God.  Today, we have adequate copies of the original manuscripts so as to be able to detect the few errors or variations that may exist in the various copies and translations, and can therefore accurately determine the content of the original manuscripts.
  2.  Jesus Christ is the Son of God;
  3.  Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary (a human woman) through God’s Holy Spirit;
  4.  Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, prophesied, fulfilled previous Biblical prophesies, and created numerous miracles (ie. heal the sick, raise the dead, create food, convert water to wine, etc.)
  5.  Jesus Christ willingly allowed himself to be persecuted, falsely charged, falsely convicted, and crucified so that He could be a substitute (ie. a sacrificial lamb) for the sins of all humans who believed in Him.
  6. Jesus Christ was crucified, died, and was buried, then on the 3rd day, He rose again (ie. was resurrected)  to sit on the right hand of God in Heaven;
  7. Jesus Christ is the only way for anyone to access God and/or everlasting life in Heaven.
  8.  Jesus Christ will return to Earth during End Times to render judgement on the wicked and non-believers.
  9. I (and everybody else) have sinned against God's will and God's Commandments, and have Original Sin passed down to me from my ancestors Adam & Eve, and others.
  10. My good works done during my lifetime are insufficient (ie. called "filthy rags" in the Bible), and these good works will not ensure that I can enter everlasting life in Heaven.
  11. I confessed and truly repented my sins, and asked that Jesus enter my life as my Saviour, and fill up my soul with the Holy Ghost (ie. Holy Spirit).
  12. I truly believe in Jesus Christ (ie. all of the Items listed above), and have full faith and trust that His crucifixion for my sins is sufficient for me to enter everlasting life in Heaven.

As I understand Christianity, all of these 12 points above are mandatory believes if someone wishes to call themselves a full and true Christian (see the mutually exclusive claims for being the One True Christian Church).  I believe that if a religion claim to be Christian but does not believe one or more of the above 12 points, then that religion is actually apostate.

By studying the above lists, we can readily see that the basic principles of Islam and Christianity conflict, and are not compatible with each other.

The greatest conflict between these two religions is over the status of Jesus Christ (ie. is Jesus Christ the Son of God, or just a Prophet?).

Logically speaking, either Islam is true, or Christianity is true, but these religions are mutually exclusive (eg. an electric light is either "on" or "off", it cannot be simultaneously both "on" and "off").  Both of these religions cannot be simultaneously true.  As the conflict in these root principles are historic, these two religions cannot "take turns" being true (ie. the past is fixed, and we cannot flip the switch back and forth between these two religions taking turns, sharing which one is true at each moment in time).

Since Christianity and Islam are mutually exclusive over the issue of Jesus Christ (and other less important points), Christians cannot simultaneously be Muslims, and Muslims cannot simultaneously be Christians.  Everyone must choose one or the other, but cannot choose to be both Muslim and Christian at the same time.

Mohammad claims to have written the Quran exactly as dictated to him by the Angel Gabriel.  Since then, the Quran is claimed to have avoided the slightest change.  Mohammad also claims to be a prophet.  To be a Muslim, you must believe the Quran is the word of Allah, and that Mohammad is Allah’s prophet.

Therefore, we must draw the following conclusions:

1.      If Mohammad is a prophet and the Quran is totally true, then the Quran indirectly claims that Jesus lied about being the Son of God.  In this case, all Christians have a significant problem with salvation during the quickly approaching End Times.

2.      In the alternative, we conclude the Holy Bible is true, and Jesus is both a true prophet and the Son of God.  Since Jesus endorsed the Old Testament on numerous occasions, and by definition a prophet cannot lie, then both the New Testament and the Old Testament are true.  Since Jesus is a true Prophet, and true prophets cannot lie, Jesus' claim that He is the Son of God must also be true.  Since Mohammad and the Quran deny Jesus as the Son of God, we therefore must conclude that Mohammad lied (or was mistaken about Jesus), and since lying or error are incompatible with being a true prophet, therefore Mohammad must be a false prophet, and the Quran is not a holy book from God.  Since Jesus said that He was the only way to Heaven and eternal life, all Muslims have a problem with their salvation in this case.

It appears that what seems to be the same on the surface can be dramatically different as we explore deeper.

Moderate, peace-loving Muslims generally claim that Islam is a religion of peace.  Most non-Muslims have trouble understanding the mandatory violence the Quran demands under jihad, and against infidels, hypocrites, heretics, blasphemers, criminals, adulterers, gays, and others.  Some Muslims claim Islam has been misunderstood, or highjacked by extremists.  However, the extreme words in the Quran are clear, and the deeds of Muslim extremists (ie. Islamists) seem to match the extreme words.  Should non-Muslims and peace-loving moderate Muslims reasonably believe the fanciful words of Islamic apologists that contradict or explain away the Quran, or the terror-based actions (ie. words, deeds, and/or acquiescence) of the Muslim extremists?

Some people have said that Muslim extremists believe the world will finally be at peace when EVERYBODY has converted to Islam.  Muslim extremists see it as their job to ensure that the Kafirs (infidels or non-Muslims) conversion process to Islam happens immediately, imposing Sharia Law on all people and all governments.  Muslim extremists claim they are willing, able, and justified to use any means necessary (ie. lying, untrue oaths, deception, propaganda, violence, terrorism, war, torture, killing, forced conversions, revolution, etc.) so as to achieve 100% conversion to Islam.

Between 20% to 80% of Muslims (whether moderate or extremists) believe that these terror-based tactics are justified in the defense and/or promotion of Islam.

Many feel that the only difference between an extremist and a moderate Muslim is that the moderate Muslim is willing to wait a little longer before achieving 100% conversion of Kafir's to Islam.  This does not seem to support the claim that Islam is a religion of peace.

Crusades Vs. Jihad (Holy War)

Many Muslims claim Muslims and Islam were unjustly attacked during the Crusades.

Many Muslims believe that Jihad (ie. a struggle or fight against the enemies of Islam, and/or against ones own sins) was justified in the past because the Muslims were terribly persecuted by Christians, as evidenced by the Christian Crusades.

See the following video for alternative facts for Crusades Vs. Jihad:

Christianity:  A Religion of Peace?

In the alternative, is Jesus and Christianity a religion of peace and love?

In the Bible, John 8:7 describes when a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery was presented to Jesus, and they asked Jesus what should be done with her.  Jesus said, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”.  After the crowd became ashamed and dispersed, Jesus said to the woman, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” 11 She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.”

Many Muslims and Christians are stirred by what Jesus said during his Sermon on the Mount, as described in Matthew 5:1-7:28

Beatitudes                  Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.5 “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.7 “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.9 “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.11 “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. 12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Salt and Light                        13 “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet.14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Christ Came to Fulfill the Law        17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Anger             21 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ 22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire. 23 So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. 25 Come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison. 26 Truly, I say to you, you will never get out until you have paid the last penny.

Lust                27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.

Divorce           31 “It was also said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’ 32 But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

Oaths              33 “Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform to the Lord what you have sworn.’ 34 But I say to you, Do not take an oath at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, 35 or by the earth, for it is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. 36 And do not take an oath by your head, for you cannot make one hair white or black. 37 Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil.

Retaliation      38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ 39 But I say to you, you do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40 And if anyone would sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. 41 And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. 42 Give to the one who begs from you, and do not refuse the one who would borrow from you.

Love Your Enemies              43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? 48 You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Giving to the Needy              6 “Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.2 “Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

The Lord's Prayer                5 “And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 6 But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.7 “And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. 9 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.  10 Your kingdom come, your will be done,    on earth as it is in heaven.  11 Give us this day our daily bread, 12 and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.  13 And lead us not into temptation,  but deliver us from evil.  14 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, 15 but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Fasting                                    16 “And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 17 But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, 18 that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

Lay Up Treasures in Heaven                       19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, 23 but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!24 “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

Do Not Be Anxious               25 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?  28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.34 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Judging Others                      7 “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. 3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.6 “Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.

Ask, and It Will Be Given    7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 9 Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? 11 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

The Golden Rule                   12 “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.13 “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.

A Tree and Its Fruit              15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.

I Never Knew You                21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

Build Your House on the Rock        24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”

The Authority of Jesus         28 And when Jesus finished these sayings, the crowds were astonished at his teaching, 29 for he was teaching them as one who had authority, and not as their scribes.

I pray that all Muslims compare and contrast the words of Jesus to those of the Quran.

Muslim scholars claim the Quran to be the most beautiful verses that no man could come close to duplicating.  As a candidate, I give you Psalm 23 from the Old Testament:

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
and I give you John 3:16 from the New Testament:

John 3:16

God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son [Jesus Christ], that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Jesus Christ came to Earth for all mankind, Christian, Jew, Muslim, all other religions, agnostics, and even atheists.  I pray that everyone, including all Muslims, carefully consider this gracious offer of God and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Satanic Verses

Some Muslim scholars and Islamic references (ie. tafsir,  sira-maghazi, al-Tabari, Ibn Ishaq, Ibn Sa'd, Al-Waqidi, etc.)[3] claim that Mohammad was mislead by Satan to place the Satanic Verses[4] in the Quran.

Could it be that an even bigger deception, far greater that just that one Satanic Verse, has occurred in the Quran?  Is it possible that Mohammad was told that he was being instructed by the Angel Gabriel, but in reality it was the fallen Angel Lucifer (ie. the Devil) who was instructing Mohammad?    How would Mohammad be able to discern between these two Angels?  Did Mohammad take sufficient steps to adequately verify and validate by whom he was being instructed?

Conclusion

I believe God wants all Muslims, and all other people, to see the light and come to Him through Jesus Christ.

I do not know who Allah is, but Allah is clearly different from the Christian God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ishmael, and Jesus Christ.

With End Times quickly approaching, there is little time left to us to re-consider our personal assumptions, beliefs, and choices.

As one Christian, I encourage all Muslims to read their Quran carefully, and then study God's Holy Bible, and/or speak with a Christian to get your questions answered.

I welcome each and every Muslim to come home to the one true God and the salvation offered by Jesus Christ.
