Today, I saw a Tweet which spoke about this issue, and gave me the motivation to re-tweet and write this Blog posting.
End Time Scriptures has been very busy for the past 2 years, Tweeting every day. The Tweets look professional, both in the Biblical references used, as well as the artwork. Timothy recommends avoiding all or most sinners (see Timothy 3:1-5 ).
If one of Jesus' Apostles has given up on this type of person, and recommends all Christians to avoid them like the plague, how do they get saved? It is unlikely that they will spontaneously generate the necessary awareness. Are these people to be considered a hopeless cause?
No doubt, they are frustrating to be around. A Saint may even be lead into temptation by being near one of these sinners.
However, abandon them as a default "win" for the Dark Side (ie. the Devil)?
To answer this, I ask a few questions:
- Did Jesus avoid difficult or "messy" situations?
- Did Jesus avoid running into the Devil, possessed persons, or evil spirits? Surly they are tougher & more committed to their black cause than a human.
- What would Jesus do?
