Protect the Innocent, Kill the Enemy

Here is information on what the Israeli IDF has been using on their infantry rifles for more than 5 years, to help ensure 100% accuracy.

Electronic target acquisition & fire control system

Consider an IDF soldier out in the open, when the enemy starts shooting at him.  He runs full speed, dives for cover, is scared, stressed, and breathing heavily.

The rifle optics will help the soldier find & suggest possible targets on his rifle's optics view screen. 

Once the soldier has identified an enemy, the soldier pushes a button on his rifle's  forward grip, locking the electronics onto his chosen target. 

The soldier then does his best to aim the rifle at his chosen target.   Having just run full speed & being highly stressed, his aim isn't perfect on a continuous basis, so the electronics lock his trigger until he has a guaranteed kill shot.  

As soon as the moving target and the unsteady rifle are perfectly aligned, the electronics instantly unlock the trigger, allowing the weapon to fire.

If the soldier had been continuously pulling the trigger while he tried to settle himself down on his chosen target, the weapon will automatically fire if he is aligned for just a fraction of a second.

This SmartShooter targeting system works on targeting enemy soldiers, vehicles, UAV drones, etc.
