A Blog to discuss God's love and His End Times process we are now in. We help residents, neighbours, and visitors of Manitoulin Island to survive the ever increasing challenges, persecutions, and temptations of Satan.
We live in troubled times. The 7 years of God's End Times likely begin on or about Sept. 17-28, 2020 with many tribulations occurring soon thereafter (ie. evil events by Satan &/or judgements by God).
If you suddenly die before you are a Born Again, True Christian, you are doomed to eternity in Hell. With End Times starting soon, many more people (thousands to millions to billions more) will die through Satan's evil plans. DO NOT ignore this warning, nor procrastinate!
Here is what you need to know, and take immediate action on:

Why Bad Thinks Happen to Good People? Two books by two different authors, same title. Two separate approaches.
One book is by a Rabbi who follows Talmud, not Torah (Old Testament), man-make rhetoric, and pop psychology, void of God's answer to the question asked.
The other book is by a Christian Minister, constantly references the Bible, and follows the Bible.

If you are a True Christian who follows God's Laws, you need to participate in God's High Sabbath "Day of Atonement", starting tonight at sundown. The Jewish call this Yom Kippur.
God's High Sabbath Day of Atonement starts on Thursday Sept. 26, 2019 at sundown, and continues to sundown on Friday Sept. 27, 2019.
Some feel God's Rapture of His remnant church may occur at some unknown time during this Day of Atonement Sabbath in 2019, so it's critical we get it right. If you are too busy with your worldly activities, you are not Rapture Ready, and God will pass over you, leaving you behind. If Rapture doesn't occur, it might be The Latter Rain, so you may miss out on that. If none of the above, you at least don't add this sin of neglect of Commandment #4 (Remember the Sabbath & keep it Holy...) to your sin burden. If not here, the next likely Rapture Date (or Latter Day Rain) is on or about Nov. 1, 2019.
Thursday Sept. 26, 2019 has a sunset of 7:19 PM EDT local sundown for me (yours may be different).
Sundown Thursday starts the "Day of Atonement" fast (no food, just water for 24 hrs) till sundown on Friday (7:17 PM for me local time).
This calendar date is based on Enoch's Calendar, according to Zadok Prients in Qumran and Book of Enoch, and Book of Jubilees. Bible says Day of Atonement is from eve sundown on 9th day of 7th month, to eve sundown on 10th day.
Day of Atonement is a Sabbath according to Levit. 16:31, & 23:32. No work whatsoever for you or anybody else within your gates. We all must fast, afflict our souls, mourn, do pennance, remembering Joseph's blood soaked Coat of Many Colours (stripes like Jesus on the cross of crucifixion) that was presented to Jacob (father of Joseph) on this day. See Genesis 37:3-37:35 .
Will you wear sackcloth & ashes like Jacob did while mourning the death of his favorite son Joseph? I will. I encourage you to do so also.
After 7:17 PM Friday, it's "Yom Kippur Feast Time!" to celebrate the successful remission of all our sins through the blood of Jesus Christ for another year, continuing to our weekly Sabbath on Saturday Sept. 28 (11 day of 7th month).
We will have a King James Bible Church service in the Upper Room Friday 6:00 PM ---> ? PM, everybody local is welcome to join us.
Our regular weekly Sabbath service will be Sat. Sept. 28 2019 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon, Upper Room.
Your computer is likely syncronized with Internet time. You need to be synchronized with God's time.
We all need to follow God's Laws. We all have appointments and specific
times when we must respond. It is not good to keep God waiting, or
never show up. God gave us the sun, moon, and stars to sychronize all our clocks to God's time. DO you know what time it is?
We currently have the Gregorian calendar, the Muslim calendar, the Hebrew calendar, the Myan calendar, the Enoch calendar, and many more. Which one is God's calendar?
If you follow 100% the Bible, and shun religious dogma of Church Elders, then the prove is here.
First Witness: Abrihim
Genesis 15:1-18 where Abrahim does his part of a new covenant during the day (birds
flying) then sunset and dark, then God does His part of the Covenant in the
same day, even though sunset occurred between the 2 parts of this Covenant, so sundown
doesn't separate 1 day from another.
This means that God's day begins at sunrise.
Second witness:
Genesis 19:30-38 (Lot's daughters). The daughters got the Old Man drunk, then had their way with him; eldest daughter the first night, younger sister the second night. The text clearly describes the plotting during the day, the dirty deed after the sun went down, then discussions the next day about what they had done the night before. The two different days with a night between clearly tells us the day changes with a sunrise.
Mary going to the sepulcre in the dark at the end of Sabbath, as its dawning to the first day of the week. The day clearly goes from sunrise to sunrise.
Biblical Ambiguity
All other Bible verses could be reasonably interpreted as both cases, sunrise or sunset, so they do not help decide this issue.
Fourth Witness:
Modern Jews of today name the months of the years with ancient Babylonian names,
different than Biblical names. Therefore we conclude that the calendar of modern Jews is corrupted by Babylonian paganism. If Jews say sundown is start of day, and they are likely
corrupted here in start of day if they are corrupted in names of months as well, then sunrise as start of day is more likely.
5th Witness: God.
God likes those who rise early in the morning to pray. God
also says we are children of the light, which is the day. The importance of dawn and sunrise is a clue as to when a new day starts in God's mind.
6th
witness: Hebrew Language
The Hebrew words for evening refers to blending, as in the mixing of
light & dark.
The dawn refers to break, separate, new beginning,
referring to the old day comes to an end and a new day beginning.
7th Witness: Human Nature
We humans rise refreshed from sleep and start a new
day at or about dawn, as do most animals. Few people start their day
at sundown, usually only when forced to do so by job and employers, or
criminals (who are children of the dark).
Why Is This Important?
Changing to Sabbath is similar to those
sinners who smoke, or do drugs, or do heavy drinking. Likely all the
sinners current friends do the same type of sins. The sinner needs to
say goodbye to their old friends and find new friends who do not sin
like this. You need to do the same for your current Sunday-worshipping
friends.
1And
the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his
heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might shew these my signs
before him: 2And that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of
thy son's son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I
have done among them; that ye may know how that I am the LORD.
3And
Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the
LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself
before me? let my people go, that they may serve me. 4Else, if thou
refuse to let my people go, behold, to morrow will I bring the locusts
into thy coast: 5And they shall cover the face of the earth, that one
cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue of that
which is escaped, which remaineth unto you from the hail, and shall eat
every tree which groweth for you out of the field: 6And they shall fill
thy houses, and the houses of all thy servants, and the houses of all
the Egyptians; which neither thy fathers, nor thy fathers' fathers have
seen, since the day that they were upon the earth unto this day. And he
turned himself, and went out from Pharaoh. 7And Pharaoh's servants said
unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go,
that they may serve the LORD their God: knowest thou not yet that Egypt
is destroyed? 8And Moses and Aaron were brought again unto Pharaoh: and
he said unto them, Go, serve the LORD your God: but who are they that
shall go? 9And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old,
with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds
will we go; for we must hold a feast unto the LORD. 10And he said unto
them, Let the LORD be so with you, as I will let you go, and your little
ones: look to it; for evil is before you. 11Not so: go now ye that are
men, and serve the LORD; for that ye did desire. And they were driven
out from Pharaoh's presence.
12And the LORD said unto Moses,
Stretch out thine hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they
may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land,
even all that the hail hath left. 13And Moses stretched forth his rod
over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land
all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind
brought the locusts. 14And the locusts went up over all the land of
Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they;
before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall
be such.
In Verse 4, God promises a
plague of locusts in Egypt the next day if Pharaoh refuses to let the
Hebrews go. In Verse 11, Pharaoh agrees to let the men go, but refuses
permission for the women and children to leave Egypt. Therefore in
Verse 12, God tells Moses to bring on the locust plague upon Egypt. In
Verse 13 the wind comes out of the East all the rest of that day and all
that night, then when it was morning, the locusts arrived in Egypt,
exactly like God warned.
If we assume that the day starts at dawn, then the locusts came exactly when God said they would come.
Remember,
locusts have attacked Egypt and other regions on Earth before the time of Moses,
and have attacked since, even up to 2019. Some swarms of locusts were
less, some swarms were worse than the others. A swarm of locusts does
not prove God. A particularly bad swarm of locusts doesn't prove God.
But when the worst swarm of locusts ever seen is predicted, then shows
up exactly on cue, that could prove to Pharaoh the existence and power of God.
If
we assume the day starts at sundown, the locusts came 12 hours late,
and would therefore raise the question in Pharaoh's mind whether God controls the locusts,
or perhaps there was just a partial coincidence.
Therefore it
is suggested that God's locusts showed up exactly on-time, exactly as
predicted by God, and therefore we conclude that God's day begins at
sunrise.
We therefore conclude that God's day begins at sunrise.
I
realize that this conclusion is against Jewish tradition. Remember
however, that the Jews of today name their months differently than what
they are called in the Bible. The Jewish months are currently named
after Babylonian names. If the Jews are influenced (or corrupted) by
Babylon as to the names of the months, could the Jews also have been
corrupted as to the start of the day?
Hebrew Emtymology, The 4th Witness
Based on Jewish Hebrew, we have the meaning of evening and sunrise, as follows:
Hebrew for Evening (Strong's H6153) is Erebערב
means mixing or blending, which should be interpreted as blending of day and night.
Hebrew for Morning (Strong's H1242 ) is Boqerהבוקר הוא בוקר
is derived from breaking, delineation, separation, and demarcation; which should be interpreted as the point between yesterday and today.
Other Biblical References
There are many other Biblical descriptions for day starts in the Bible. For example:
Genesis 1:16-18, 8:22 Exodus 10:13, 12:6, 12:18, 16:2-3, 16:22-27, 18:13, 32:5-6 Deut 16:1, 16:6, 21:23 Lev 6:20, 7:15, 23:5, 23:26-32 Num 11:32 Joshua 7:6-13, 8:29 Jeremiah 33:20-21, 25-26 Judges 19:9 1 Sam 9:19-26, 19:10-11, 28:8-19, 30:17 2 Sam 24:13-15 Lam 3:22 Jonah 4:6-7 Zech 14:7 Nehemiah 7:3, 13:18-21 Mat 28:1 Mark 16:2, 15:42 Luke 24:1 John 6:16-22, 12:46 , 20:1 Acts 4:3, 16:9-11, 23:31-32
Summary Videos
You can watch a good summary of the various Biblical verses which are evidence towards sunrise as the start of God's Day.
To
the best of my knowledge & belief, most or all of these other
references are either silent, or could be reasonably interpreted by
either assumption (either sunrise or sunset as the start of day).
Therefore all of the other biblical references are weak or of no benefit
in resolving this issue.
I know of no Biblical reference that clearly supports sunset as the start of God's day.
I know of no Biblical reference that clearly contradicts the sunrise as the start of God's day.
My Decision
For
me and my family, we are now switching how we celebrate God's weekly
Sabbath. We will now celebrate Sabbath for the 24 hour period from sunrise
Saturday to sunrise Sunday.
"A single witness shall not rise up against a man on account of any
iniquity or any sin which he has committed; on the evidence of two or
three witnesses a matter shall be confirmed."
and this caution is confirmed by 6 other similar verses in the Bible.
Therefore we must find at least 1 more (preferably at least 2 more) Bible verses to prove when God's day starts.
As our next best witness, I propose Lot's daughter just after they escaped the destruction of Sodom & Gomorrah, as described in Genesis 19:30-38
Genesis 19:30-38 King James Version (KJV)
30 And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.
31 And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth:
32 Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
33 And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
34 And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
35 And they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
36 Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father.
37 And the first born bare a son, and called his name Moab: the same is the father of the Moabites unto this day.
38 And the younger, she also bare a son, and called his name Benammi: the same is the father of the children of Ammon unto this day.
In Verse 33, the daughters encouraged their father to drink way too much wine during the night. The eldest daughter then went in and laid with her father. Since the Bible says "that night", it is obviously after sundown when this occurred.
In Verse 34, it's the next day (...on the morrow,...). The elder daughter says, "Behold, I lay yesternight with my father...", which doubly confirms the eldest daughter laid with her father the night before, the previous day.
In Verse 35, the daughters encouraged their father to drink much wine again "...that night also;...", and the younger daughter went in and slept with her father also.
The following diagram is a timeline showing Genesis 19:30-38 while assuming God's day starts at sunrise. Each full day is colour coded so as to help show the moment when one day ends and the next day begins. For full size, click on the image.
Figure 1: Chart of Timeline for Genesis 19:30-38 when assuming God's day starts at sunrise
As can be seen in Figure 1, the biblical description matches with the timeline chart. Therefore Genesis 19:30-38 supports the assumption of the sunrise being the breakpoint from one day to the next.
In Figure 2 below, we see a similar timeline chart, but this time, we assume the day changes at sunset. In this case, the biblical description does not match the timeline, as the elder daughters says the next day in Verse 34 that she had slept with her father in the night of the previous day, however both these events occur in the same blue coloured day. Therefore we must conclude that this assumption (that the day begins at sunset) is in error. Click on Figure 2 to see it full size.
Figure 2: Chart of Timeline for Genesis 19:30-38 while assuming God's day starts at sunset
We find that Figure 1 is accurate and Figure 2 contradicts itself. The assumption used in Figure 2 is therefore found to be flawed.
I therefore conclude that God's Day begins at sunrise
The next post will be Part 3, the final post on this issue, further proof that God's day begins at sunrise.
I am interested in your comments and feedback. Have I missed something? Did I make an illogical jump to an unsupported conclusion?
How does this conclusion affect your life?
Do you support my conclusion? If not, what biblical reference supports your opinion?
After many months of searching and research, I have discovered a unique calendar that has many features that align with the Biblical requirements. As such, this may be God's true calendar.
Why is this important?
The Bible says that God requires all his people to respect the Sabbath, Commandment #4. This isn't just for Jews, it's for Christians as well.
Some claim that Christians must only recognize Jesus Christ as God's son, claim grace under Jesus' crucifixion for our sins, and we're home free. Does it make sense that Christians are relieved from responsibility under the 10 Commandments? I doubt that this can be claimed by any serious source.
Even Jesus had troubles with all the special "laws" added by Pharisees and Sadducees, needlessly complicating the lives of ordinary Jews. If Jesus was against these silly laws tacked on top of God's Laws, I don't see why I, as a Christian, should be held accountable for these extras.
However, God's 10 Commandments, Sabbaths, and God's Festivals are different. I can find no consistent Biblical reference that clearly excuses Christians from obeying these eternal requirements of God.
Secondly, the Bible says that the proper celebration of God's Festivals marks us as one of God's people. As a corollary, non-celebration of God's Sabbaths and Festivals, or doing so at the wrong times, would be clear indication that we are not one of God's chosen people.
Since membership in God's people is an optional, opt-in organization (ie. "if 'yer not with us, 'yer against us"), then a bad calendar can lead to missing the Mark of God, and taking the Mark of the Beast, whether that was your mistake, clear choice, or an unintended but inadvertent outcome.
Remember the 10 virgins at the wedding party, 5 whom were foolish, and ended up being locked out in the cold by the Groom (ie. Jesus). That's a 50% loss rate.
Are you really, truly sure you have it right assuming that Sunday service will save you from eternal Hell Fires?
Perhaps you should read this again, and re-consider your position, to make sure you have made a wise decision.
Assuming I'm not wrong, and Christians are responsible for celebrating God's Sabbaths and Festivals, an accurate calendar is essential.
The following calendar proposal has the following features, making this calendar proposal fully compliant to all Biblical requirements, as follows:
God’s calendar has 12 months and 365 days per year, perfectly aligned to the sun, and independent of the Moon;
Everything stays permanently aligned throughout each year, and for all centuries. There is no longer any requirement for mnemonic rhymes for school children and adults (ie. "30 days has September..."), Leap Years, Leap Centuries, Translation Days, Metonic Cycles, trying to guess upon which day an invisible New Moon occurred,
extra months added to the calendar, assessing barley harvests, nor any
other witchcraft.
Each month is made up of 30 day.
Weekly Sabbaths in 1st and 7th month always fall on the 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th days.
Passover, the 14th of the first month, always falls on the 6th day of the week. This correlates with Old Testament and New Testament observance. It also confirms the understanding on the 3 days and 3 nights prophecy for Jesus' crucifixion and Resurrection.
The first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread always falls on a weekly Sabbath, on the 15th day of the first month (Lev. 23:15-16; Jn. 19:31).
Pentecost always falls on the morrow after a weekly Sabbath (Lev. 23:15-16).
The first day of the Feast of Tabernacles falls on a weekly Sabbath.
The Eighth Day following the 7-day feast of Tabernacles falls on a weekly Sabbath.
Each season is 91 days long. 4 seasons total 364 days. Spring equilux day is day 365.
The second half of the year perfectly mirrors the first half of the year.
God is all about the day and the light. The Moon is not a source of light, it merely reflects the light from others. The Moon is all about the night, and isn't a constant, reliable source of light (ie. New Moon).
The Moon is a distraction from God's signs and messages. The Apochraphy Book of Jubilies (possibly written by Moses) cautions all readers about the risk of being distracted from God's calendar by the Moon's similar yet different calendar. Sure enough, everybody feel into this known trap, and most don't even realize they are in a trap, and fell away from God's Word; just as Satan would want.
This calendar proposal requires an annual starting point. FCOGL proposes the annual day in the Spring of Equilux (ie. day of equal light, where the day is as long as the night, 12 hours each).
Equilux is related to, but different from Equinox.
Equilux usually occurs on or around Mar. 17 to 24th in the Spring of each year. Every latitude and longitude
will have a different time of sunrise and sunset, but all will have the
same or similar day of Equilux (within 5 days or so).
Equinox ("equal night") is the exact moment that the sun crosses the
Earth's equitorial plane, from Northern Hemisphere to Southern
Hemisphere, or the reverse. There is usually about a 4 day difference
between Equilux and Eqinox.
With Equinox, all of the world will be co-ordinated to a specific date
and time, but would require expertise in astronomy to determine.
Equinox relies on experts, and is therefore hands-off everybody else (ie. non participatory), but is accurate, and perhaps wrong. On the other hand, everybody can determine Equilux for themselves if they have a watch or other time
measuring device.
God is Light. Devil is darkness. Do we get a clue from the name, Eqilux vs. Eqinox, as to which is the correct one for God's chosen people? Light or night? Is this a clear sign that Satan has been messing with things, setting traps, and misleading the foolish or uninformed?
Time and prayer may help us decide and learn.
Here is what the FCOFL calendar proposal looks like (the red coloured text was added by me):
Alternative View
I have been impressed with the following video. Although it's long, it offers many important reference sources on this critical issue.
