We live in troubled times. The 7 years of God's End Times likely begin on or about Sept. 17-28, 2020 with many tribulations occurring soon thereafter (ie. evil events by Satan &/or judgements by God).

If you suddenly die before you are a Born Again, True Christian, you are doomed to eternity in Hell. With End Times starting soon, many more people (thousands to millions to billions more) will die through Satan's evil plans. DO NOT ignore this warning, nor procrastinate!

Here is what you need to know, and take immediate action on:

My Testimony for Evangelizing

My Testimony

"Like most people, I tried to be good, but often sinned.  Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself on the cross to pay for everybody's sins.  At 63, I became a Born Again Christian.  Through Jesus, I will have an eternity of peace, joy, & love."

This testimony was designed to be as short as possible, expressly include Jesus Christ, and intrigue the listener to ask follow-on questions.

My Chronic Problem

The above testimony was developed as my solution to be used by me when I'm handing out Bible tracts.

I have been handing out a Bible tract about sin, obedience to God's laws, and the limitations of being  , which is wrongly assumed to be sufficient for eternal salvation.

The full colour cartoon tract I like to use ("Are you a good person?") is made famous by Ray Comfort of Living Waters.  It can be purchased through http://livingwaters.com  at a reasonable price.  Alternatively, which I eventually did, you can download a copyright-free public domain version (see: http://freecartoontract.com/are-you-a-good-person-english/ ),  customize it for yourself (eg. add your contact info), print locally, and save the expense of shipping.

Free cartoon Bible tract
http://freecartoontract.com/are-you-a-good-person-english/

My version is on legal size paper (8.5" x 14", double-sided, with two tracts per page), and includes info about our church, added via my desktop publishing software, available here:

https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/w4qrccoa6ajnr5zlw27td/KJBC-M_AreYouAGoodPerson_A09.pdf?rlkey=z6iexdwd2iiilbqq54zzjxrif&dl=0

When I hand this tract out, I would usually say "You're a good person!  Here [handing the tract to them], this is a story about other good persons, just like you.".

Previously, too often, I didn't add my own testimony to the tract gifting; often because:

A)   I'm not sure what else to say, &/or

B)  I want to avoid social discomfort (ie. for both me, & the receiver of the tract).

Praying & reflecting on this lack of testimony, I now worry that my avoidance of social discomfort is way too close to:

Ps 119:46; Mar 8:38; Luk 9:26; Rom 1:16; Rom 5:5; Rom 9:33; Rom 10:11; 2Ti 1:8, 12; 1Pe 4:16

[Psa 119:46 KJV] "46 I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed."

[Mar 8:38 KJV] "38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels."

[Luk 9:26 KJV] "26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels."

[Rom 1:16 KJV] "16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."

[Rom 5:5 KJV] "5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."

[Rom 9:33 KJV] "33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed."

[Rom 10:11 KJV] "11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed."

[2Ti 1:8, 12 KJV] "8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; ... 12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day."

[1Pe 4:16 KJV] "16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf."

Analysis

Boldness and courage, tempered by love, friendliness, and compassion for lost souls is why we speak our testimony in spite of wanting to avoid fleeting social awkwardness.

Therefore, I wrote the above testimony as a solution for myself.

Christians are suffering more & more persecution, around the world; up to & including death.

Soon, a time will come under the AntiChrist, when it isn't just social discomfort in N. America and Europe, it will be illegal to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and give one's testimony.

The One-World government of the AntiChrist will persecute and cruelly enforce these laws against Christianity.

Strength and courage learned now will be essential for this future time of Christian persecution.

I am reminded of Acts 5:25-42 when the Sanhedrin threatened the Apostles for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Jerusalem:

[Act 5:25–42 KJV] "25 Then came one and told them [Sanhedrin], saying, 'Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people'. 26 Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned. 27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, 28 Saying, 'Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.' 29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, 'We ought to obey God rather than men. 30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. 31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. 32 And we are His witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey Him.' 33 When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them. 34 Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space; 35 And said unto them, 'Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men. 36 For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought. 37 After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed. 38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: 39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.' 40 And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. 41 And they [the Apostles] departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. 42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ."

By memorizing my testimony above, I hope to recite it when handing out Bible tracts in all future evangelizing.

I hope & pray that this combination of "Tract + personal testimony" will develop better, more effective evangelism methods, showing my courage and love for Jesus.

I share all this here in case the above might help you, or help others you may know.

Therefore use any of the above freely for the greater glory of God, or if you think best, share it far & wide.

Super High Watch: Jan. 11, 2024

### Begin Update #1: 2024-01-21 ###

After watching carefully, I was unable to detect anything specific that occurred on or about Jan. 11th, 2024.  The most recent set of solar/lunar eclipses before Jan. 11th (ie. Oct. 23, 2023 solar eclipse, Oct. 29, 2023 lunar eclipse) also has perfect 74 day symmetry with the solar/lunar eclipses after Jan. 11th (ie. lunar eclipse on Mar. 24, 2024 and solar eclipse on Apr. 8, 2024).

Others have further tested this Jan. 11th 2024 symmetry, and shown that all known solar/lunar eclipses are in perfect symmetry around Jan. 11th, 2024.  Quite a revelation just discovered!

Dr. Robert Mawire has shown that occurrences occur first in our flesh & blood physical world, before they are mirrored in the spiritual world.

Therefore events associated with Jan. 11th, if any, will be in the physical world, not the spiritual world.

If nothing occurred on the Jan. 11th date of symmetry, this then points us to the 2nd half of the symmetry; from now until the solar eclipse on April 8, 2024 (ie. the big "X" over USA, centered over "Little Egypt".  This is "precisely in the very same spot in Illinois where totality – the complete eclipse of the sun – will be repeated for the greatest length of time. That exact point where the 2017 and 2024 lines of totality cross is Cedar Lake in Jackson County, just south of Carbondale."   https://aish.com/the-next-solar-eclipse-in-2024-a-startling-message-for-the-world/

### End Update #1   2024-01-21 ###

Like many others, I am declaring a super high watch on Jan. 11, 2024 at 6:58 AM EST.

This watch is based on the work of Repoman64, Steve Fletcher, and Ken Potter.  It is highly recommended to watch the following You Tube video, 34 minutes:

and Repoman64's video:

https://youtu.be/AQziWn8E5A8?si=9Khoc5I8ZZTWKbEX

Most of my Christian friends are ABC Christians; supporters of the Sinner's Prayer, OSAS (Once Saved, Always Saved), Pre-Trib. Rapture, Easy-Believism, no good works required.  They believe Jan. 11th will be Pre-Trib. Rapture.  I love them dearly.

They may be right, but I offer a different interpretation.  I am a Post-Trib. Pre-Wrath Rapture believer, as this is what I clearly see in the Bible.

To me, Pre-Trib. Rapture is a big stretch, and is likely a misinterpretation of the Bible by Eisegesis (ie. wishful thinking, the process of interpreting the Bible such that one's own presuppositions, agendas or biases are introduced, and then "magically" found in the Bible).

Instead, I suggest God wants to maximize the number of people who can get to Heaven, and minimize those who are lost, deceived, or apathetically ignore the situation till after God's deadline has passed.

The Ninevah Example

For the chronic sins of  Ninevah, God was justly entitled to punish the people of Ninevah like He had done to Sodom and Gehmorrah.

Instead, God spent a lot of time and effort to get His Prophet, Jonah, into gear.  This resulted in saving this huge city of 120,000 people (Jonah 4:11, likely the adult males, so that is likely 600,000 people in total, counting every man, woman, and child) at that time, the capital of Assyria.

Our Wicked World in 2024

Similarly, in 2024, 99.5% of Christians are luke-warm, and wouldn't be considered "Rapture Ready".  In addition, there are 6.7 Billion non-Christians.

That is a sad state of affairs!

Instead, it is likely God's plan to do a revival first, giving everybody one last chance before Tribulation turns to Great Tribulation, persecution, and death in their sins.

Therefore I suggest Jan. 11th is likely the start of God's Revival.  This may begin with a micro nova on our Sun (see:   https://m.youtube.com/user/suspicious0bservers ), so it goes completely dark for 3 days (yes, like for Moses & Egypt in Exodus 10:21-29).  Everybody is so scared, even Atheists pray to God.  Now that everybody's attention is focused, the remaining 37 days of God's revival can be effective.

Ninevah got 40 days to repent before God's destruction began, so let's assume that duration here too.

Jan. 11th + 40 days= Feb. 20, 2024

I previously calculated Feb. 27, 2024 is the likely date Israel signs the "Covenant of Many" (also known as the treaty with Death and Hell), see:

https://et-manitoulin.blogspot.com/2023/11/end-times-calendar-dates.html?m=1

That means there is 7 days still available for Satanic "fun & games" after God's revival for Judgment.

Israel's Plight under Psalm 83 War

There is reportedly 200,000 rockets aimed at Israel by her enemies.  To get around Israel's defence systems (eg. Iron Dome, David's Sling, Arrow, etc.), the rockets must come faster than 1 per second, so that is a continuous barrage of 2.31 days.

The Bible says WW3 will be over in 24 hours or less.

That leave 3.6 days for general mayham, artillary, RPG's, tanks maneuvering, AK-47 terrorists on motorcycles, etc.

Looks like it all fits.

After all that, Israel can have a treaty with the Muslims, then start building their 3rd. Temple on Temple Mount, then the Anti-Christ can rise and start some serious persecution of Christians while he pretends to be the Jew's Messiah.

Conclusions & Recommendations

Therefore, if you are a Luke-Warm Christian, you need to get serious NOW.

If you're not a Christian, you need to find your Messiah, LORD, and Saviour in Jesus Christ right away.

Either way, everything you need to get started is in the following document, God's 26 Commandments for Christians

https://et-manitoulin.blogspot.com/2019/12/gods-26-commandments-for-christians.html

Dispensationalism: From God, or man?

Did God treat Adam & Eve in the Garden of Eden exactly the same as after they were expelled from the garden?

Was everybody treated the same, and under the same laws, up to the time of the Great Flood?

What about after the Flood till the time of Abram?

From Abram to Exodus?

From Exodus till Jesus?

After Jesus resurrection till today?

Dispensationalism is an attempt to simplify or explain differences (or perceived difference, or hoped for exceptionalism?) in the Bible, down through the ages.

Most Dispensationalists understand the Bible to be organized into seven dispensations:

  1.  Innocence (Genesis 1:1—3:7),
  2. Conscience (Genesis 3:8—8:22),
  3. Human Government (Genesis 9:1—11:32),
  4. Promise (Genesis 12:1—Exodus 19:25),
  5. Law (Exodus 20:1—Acts 2:4),
  6. Grace (Acts 2:4—Revelation 20:3), and the
  7. Millennial Kingdom (Revelation 20:4–6).

Others see only 3 Dispensations:

  1. before Jesus' ministry (from creation in Gen. 1:1 to Jesus' baptism);
  2. Jesus' 3.5 year ministry, after Jesus' resurrection; and
  3. after the Battle of Armageddon (ie. Wedding supper of Lamb, Millenial Kingdom, and eternity in New Jerusalem)

There is

  • Classic dispensationalism,
  • Ultradispensationalism (Bullingerism),
  • Hyperdispensationalism (Mid-Acts dispensationalism),
  • Revised dispensationalism,
  • Progressive dispensationalism,
  • Covenant (3 step),
  • Minimalist (3 step),
  • 4 Step,
  • 7 Step, and
  • 8 Step.
Each of these 9 major classes of Dispensationalism is further splintered into dozens of sub-categories by the various Christian denominations.

Each dispensation includes a recognizable pattern of how God worked with people living in the dispensation. That pattern is:

  1. a responsibility,
  2. a failure,
  3. a judgment, and
  4. grace to move on.

Progressive Dispensationalism

"Progressive Dispensationalism arose in the 1980's and 90's as a recent refinement of the older Traditional (or Classic) Dispensationalism.

Though often misrepresented, Progressive Dispensationalism owns the following hallmarks, many of which are shared by Traditional Dispensationalists."

"Dispensationalism itself is a hermeneutical framework used to guide biblical interpretation. Although often presented as a series of administrations enumerating God's major dealings with mankind, the interpretive center of Dispensationalism is actually a distinction between Israel, the Church, and the Millennial Kingdom. The opposing viewpoint found in Reformed theology is Covenant theology."

Origins of Dispensationalism

Dispensation was likely invented by John Birchensa when he published "The History of Scripture" in 1660 AD, then added to by Poiret in 1687 AD, John Nelson Darby in 1830 AD,  and Philip Mauro who coined the phrase "dispensationalism" in his 1928 AD book.

Application of Dispensationalism to Supersede Obedience

I posted about the need for obedience to God's laws by all Christians

https://et-manitoulin.blogspot.com/2024/01/obedience.html

Some who have read the above suggest I have mis-interpreted the Bible due to different Dispensations, and therefore they allege that none of the Bible verses presented in the above link, calling Christians to obedience, apply to this current Dispensation (2024 AD).

In response, I'd like to point out that there are 9 different classes of Dispensationalism (see above).

Each of these 9 major classes of Dispensationalism is further splintered into dozens of sub-categories by the various Christian denominations.

My response is that God is not the author of confusion.

The Dispensationalists don't even agree amongst themselves.

Now that we are in End Times, the scriptures have been opened by God, the Holy Spirit has provided additional wisdom down through the centuries, and therefore we can now see more clearly.

I therefore suggest that the majority of Dispensationalism is now antiquated theology, and was always man's religion,  never God's Word, and is more akin to "Customs of the Elders" for the Pharisees that so upset Jesus.

As the best I've been able to determine as I slowly pieced this together over the last 7 years, Biblical proofs for Dispensationalism are weak at best, mainly use eisegesis (ie. inserting one's own biases and pre-suppositions into the Bible when trying to interpret, leading to corruption and mis-interpretation), and cannot be reasonably justified.

I therefore reject Dispensationalism as a religious invention of humans, and is not from God, and is a mislead misinterpretation of the Bible.

However, if you have a rock-solid Bible-based proof for Dispensationalism, and your proof also makes all the above Bible verses in favor of obedience to be null and void, I am eager to learn, and change my mind.

Law Nailed to the Cross

Some people have suggested that all of the Old Testement is obsolete (ie. OT only applies to the Jews), and NT only applies to Christians.

Others double down on this assumption, and have an interesting interpretation of Col 2:13-14

[Col 2:13–14 KJV] "13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross;"

Many Christians (ie. millions, I fear) have been wrongly told that Christians are under grace, not under OT law, as it was the OT law which was nailed to Jesus' cross; so the only thing Christians must do to get to Heaven is to say that they "believe in Jesus Christ".

The English word "ordinances" is translated from the Greek word dogma (Strong's G1378:  dógma, dog'-mah; from the base of G1380; a law (civil, ceremonial or ecclesiastical):—decree, ordinance).

Thayer's Greek lexicon adds:

 δόγμα-τοςτό, (from δοκέω, and equivalent to τὸ δεδογμένον), an opinion, a judgment (Plato, others), doctrine, decree, ordinance;

In 1 Cor 9:9, the "law of Moses" occurs.  Here, the "law" is the Greek word nomos which is used 197 times in the KJV Bible, each and every time translated as "law". (Strong's Greek G3551 nómos, nom'-os; from a primary νέμω némō (to parcel out, especially food or grazing to animals); law (through the idea of prescriptive usage), genitive case (regulation), specially, (of Moses (including the volume); also of the Gospel), or figuratively (a principle):—law.

Simple Example

To help understand the Biblical meanings here, let's take a simple example.  You are driving a car, doing 80 km/hr in a 50 km/hr zone.  You saw the road sign which said "Maximum 50 km/hr".  A police officer is upset by you exceeding the speed limit by 30 km/hr, putting you and everybody near you at un-necessary risk.

The officer pulls you over, shows you your clocked speed on his radar speed gun, and writes you a speeding ticket; a summons to appear in Court to explain yourself to the Magistrate against the police officer's accusation against you.

In Court, the police officer presents his evidence to the Magistrate, that the government had set the Maximum speed at 50 km/hr on that roadway, the drivers were notified and reminded of that law by the matching sign, the radar gun was working properly and recorded 80 km/hr, the driver (you) admitted speeding when he was stopped.  All while the police officer is giving his evidence, there is a tape recording being made of everything being said.  In addition, the Magistrate is writing down his own notes of key evidence presented.

You, the driver, were allowed to question the police officer's evidence, or submit additional evidence.  You decide to say only that you were late for work, so you had decided to speed.

After hearing all the evidence, the Magistrate decides you are guilty as charged, and fines you $100.00

On a separate sheet of paper, the Judge writes the current date and time, Police Summons number, the driver's name, driver's license number, the charge (80 in a 50 zone), the judgement rendered (ie. "Guilty"), and the fine of $100.00 then the Magistrate signs the Guilty verdict. The judge then staples the Guilty verdict to the speeding ticket, and calls for the next case to begin.

If there is an appeal of this Magistrate's decision, all the necessary information is recorded on the various Court records.

If the Guilty verdict somehow got lost, and couldn't be found, there would be no record of a conviction against the driver.  The Court office would not be able to collect the fine mentioned in Court.  It would be similar to never being convicted of speeding.

Applying the simple example

Applying this simple example to our Bible question, we have:

God's commandments are like the speed laws passed by the government.

The Bible notifies all humans about God's laws, just like the Maximun 50 km/hr speed sign on the edge of the road.

The police officer who noticed the driver speeding, stopped the driver, and wrote him a ticket is like the Holy Spirit and the driver's conscience convicting him of doing wrong.

The Magistrate is like God, judging the evidence, finding guilt, and rendering suitable punishment (fine of $100.00).

The Guilty verdict is the ordinance that gets nailed to Jesus' cross, taking it away, thereby preventing the judgment and fine to be attributed towards the driver.

Other Evidence

A similar explanation is offered here:

https://lifehopeandtruth.com/bible/law-and-grace/nailed-to-the-cross/

Jesus said:

[Mat 5:17 KJV] "17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil."

and

[Mat 5:18 KJV] "18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

and

[Jhn 14:15 KJV] "15 If ye love Me, keep My commandments."

Conclusion

The only reasonable interpretation of all the above is that the OT law is still in effect, God wants us to obey His laws, if we truly love God then we will want to be obedient to God's laws, and its our Guilty verdicts against us that will get nailed to Jesus' cross, not God's laws.

In response, I see that God is consistently against sin and iniquity, in both OT and NT.  God doesn't change.  Sin by a Jew under the Abraham covenant angers God.  I suggest that the NT clearly indicates that Jesus is angered when a Christian sins under the NT.  I see no difference in the Bible.

Obedience

True Christians in USA & Canada are only 0.5% of those who call themselves Christians.

About 99.5% of so-called Christians fail by their lack of loving obedience, or failing to establish an intimate relationship with Jesus.

If someone only loosely "believes" in Jesus, and think they can live as they like, please explain Eccles.12:13, Isaiah 59:1-21; Mat 13:41-42; Luke 6:46; John 9:31, 14:15, 21; Acts 5:32; Rom 6:14-19, 8:1-10; 2 Tim 2:19; 1 John 2:3-5; 3:6, 8; Heb. 10:26-27; etc.

Is mere lip service sufficient faith, or is lip service wicked hypocrisy (ie. say one thing, do another)?

[Mat 15:8–9 KJV] "8 This people draweth nigh unto Me with their mouth, and honoureth Me with their lips; but their heart is far from Me. 9 But in vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."

Remember, there is "dead faith", and "saving faith" (see James 2:14-26).

I'm fearful someone here will be weeping in Hell for all eternity after they realize too late their iniquity (ie. pre-planned, pre-meditated, or chronic sin) ran afoul of Luke 13:22-28; and/or Mat 7:21-23 which clearly declare the consequences for "Workers of Iniquity", &/or failing to establish an intimate, loving relationship with Jesus Christ as their LORD and Saviour.

Saving faith, grace, and salvation through Jesus Christ requires true love of Jesus.  True love is proven by hating all sin, seeking obedience to His commandments & teachings, an intimmate relationship with Jesus, and the resulting good works.

If someone doesn't have all four of these signs, they likely have a dead faith that doesn't lead to salvation.

Fortunately, this deadly disease is quickly cured by humble, contrite confessing, repenting, praying for forgiveness, and seeking obedience.
