What's with Turkey?

Many people are confused by Turkey, especially the so-called experts.  Here is the inside scoop so you understand what has happened, why, and what comes next.

Turkey is another case of those who don't know history will be confused by what is happening today.

Erdogan is likely "King of the North" (ie. Ankorah is due North of Jerusalem as described in Daniel Chapter 11 in the Bible).

May 14, 2021 is the 80 years finish line per Psalm 90:10 less the 7 years for God's End Times (May 14, 1948  start of Israel+80-7= May 14, 2021).  

Alternatively, May 14, 1948 + 70 years of Psalm 90:10 plus 3 years for Fig Tree generation of Luke 13:6-9 when God had patiently waited for Israel for 70 years, then an additonal 3 years to come to its senses, but Israel is still apostate, and produces only corrupt fruit, sin, iniquity, and blasphamy.  Will Israel get ripped out now; or will God allow the Satanic husbandman to dig around, and dung upon, water, and invigorate (with Israel as the fig tree) for 1 more year by its neghbours &/or Satan?

Iran and its proxies have 200,000 rockets ready to launch at Israel.  With 22,145 sq. Km. of Israeli land to attack, that is 1 rocket for every 0.11 sq.km. (27 acres).  Those crater holes, plus the tunnels at the borders, plus the tracks of all attacking military vehicles should dig up Israel quite intensively.  Unfortunately, the resulting spilt blood and bodies will be the fertilizer.

Islamic States (Iran and other Shia allies) all around Israel will likely soon attack so as to wipe Israel off map permanently. 

However, God has other plans, and will demonstate who is really in charge of everything, on Earth as well as the rest of the Universe.  

Israel will be badly bruised, see their life flash before their collective eyes, and suddenly wake up.  

Unfortunately, they don't return to God, but run into the treacherous arms of the AntiChrist as their False Messiah, seeking safety. 

Just as UK's Churchill described USA in World War 2, Israel too will eventually do what's right when all other possibilities have been exhausted.

Get a Bible, read it, and you will suddenly understand what is going on.

Turkey Vs. Egypt

In a Mar. 1, 2020 posting (see https://et-manitoulin.blogspot.com/2020/03/turkey-nuked-damascus-purims-rapture.html?m=1 ), I speculated on what soon comes from Turkey's aggression against Syria and others in the Middle East.

Erdogan sees himself as the modern day supreme leader of the Ottoman Empire, raised from the ashes of history, a modern caliphate.

There is a civil war in Libya.  The two sides of the Libyian forces are each backed by a different foreign government as their proxy:  Turkey and Egypt.  

This isn't about Libya, it's about the oil & gas reserves in the Mediterranian Sea, depending on how you lay the border lines ( see   https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/new-map-reveals-turkey-claim-half-east-mediterranean-waters ).

If Libya agrees with Turkey's proposed border lines, or Egypt's proposal, it will make one side rich, and the other poor.  

One of the best ways to get the Libyian government to agree with your proposed Mediterranian oil & gas border is to support them in the Libyian civil war so they win, and are indebted to you for saving them from defeat.

As a show of force, warning, and proof of determination, both sides are (or recently) conducted extensive live fire war games in the disputed territory (see https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/war-footing-egypt-answers-turkish-naval-drills-own-large-exercise-libyan-border ).

On the other side, Turkey has threatened to invade Greece (ie. Greece's many island close offshore of Turkey that were taken from the defeated Turks and Italians after WW2.

One of the things that God hates most is agression &/or militarism of one nation against another.  King David counted his men when he was speculating about a war of agression not authorized by God.

For example, 1 Chronicles 21:1 says: "And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel."  To "number Israel" is a military strength assessment.   Exodus 30:12–16 gives specific instructions about when, how, and why a king is permitted to number their nation.  King David sinned out of pride and his evil plans of aggression.  By Verse 8, after Joab reported the 9 month long counting of soldiers, David repented.  God subsequently killed 70,000 of David's men by disease as judgement against David's personal sin of pride & aggression, and the sins of the whole nation of Israel.

If God's judgement against King David cost 70,000 men their lives for merely being counted, what do you think God's judgement will be against USA for all of the wars, coups, assassinations, killings, immorality, and other evil USA has done over the last 244 years?  More than one prophet has predicted the total, utter destruction of USA will soon occur, and USA will exist no more (see:  https://et-manitoulin.blogspot.com/2020/06/pray-prepare-protect.html?m=1 ).

King David repented.  Unlike King David then, I doubt that Turkey will repent their current aggression (until they eventually lament God's sure judgement against their aggression of today).

Daniel 11:5-20 seems to speak of the past, as forshadowing the current situation between Turkey and Egypt of today.

Immediately after this is the rise of the AntiChrist, in Daniel 11:5-21 and in Revelation 13:1-10.

The Problem

Satan, Turkey, Egypt, Greece, and the rest will do what they do.  There's little to nothing I can do about this except watch and prepare.

That's not the problem.

The problem is, I am a sinner; past, present, and future.  My spirit wishes to follow God's Commandments, but my flesh is weak.  If I don't pray for God's help and strength to resist Satan's temptations, and repent when I fail, I will surely perish in Hell.

You are in the same boat as I, for Romans 3:19 tells us that nobody is righteous, no not one.  We all deserve the Lake of Fire as our punishment.

My Solution

Fortunately, I woke up to God, His Commandments, and my sins against His Commandments.

The "woke" I speak about is a different kind of "woke" than what is so popular among Social Justice Warriors, and Satan's World.  My "woke" is not the Satan's kind of BLM, Marxist, Antifa, white fragility, white supremecy kind of "woke".

This is God's kind of "woke".

Instead of the Lake of Fire, I decided to take God's offer of clemency. 

In Feb. 2017, I left behind my life-long, pitiful existence as a luke-warm Christian, and became a Born Again Christian.

Today, I still sin, but I sin a lot less than I did before.  I have removed almost all iniquity (ie. Pre-planned, purposeful sins, or chronic sins) from my life.

I'm still working on pride, gluttony, laziness, impatience, speeding and other minor violations of man's laws while driving (see Romans 13:1-2), excessive focus on the cares of this world of Satan rather than the permanent things of God, etc.

Your Solution ?

I have my solution underway.

Do you have your solution to avoid eternal torment and burning in the Lake of Fire?

Don't believe like I do?  That's OK.

Let's try an analogy.  If you suddenly decided the sun is green, your change in belief doesn't change reality (ie. the sun doesn't suddenly change to a shade of green).

It doesn't matter what you happen to believe.  It matters what is true.  The Bible is God's Word.  God's Word is 100% true; never proven wrong.

You can choose to believe the Bible, or ignore it at your peril.  God put a sense of right & wrong into the eternal soul of every person.  Ignorance of God's law is impossible.  If you ignore God's Laws, there will be consequences.

To avoid these natural consequences of breaking God's Laws, there is only 1 known solution.

First, you must admit to both yourself and God that you have sinned in the past, continue to sin today, enjoy your sins, and tolerate (&/or ignore) the natural consequences that your sins create.

Next, you need to judge yourself and your actions (and inactions) thoroughly against God's measuring stick, His 26 Commandments (10 in Old Testament, 16 more in New Testament, 26 in total).

Next, you need to learn about Jesus Christ till you appreciate what He did for you and all others by His crucifixion.  

Jesus willingly gave up His life for you 2,000 years ago.  When you love Jesus enough to give up your old life in Satan's world, in favor of your  eternal peace, joy, and life in God's Heaven, then you are ready.

If you truly love Jesus with all your mind, body, soul, and strength, then you will willingly (not grudgingly) want to obey all of His Commandments as respect and appreciation and love for Jesus.

This is not a works-based salvation.  This obedience is a natural consequence of truly loving Jesus.

Same Soul

When you were conceived in your mother's womb, God gave you an eternal soul.

You had a different body then.  Cells in your body are replaced every 7 to 10 years.  The body you have today is completely different than 10 years ago.

Your soul is spiritual, it has no cells.  Your soul is the same then, as it is now; it's eternal.

The true you, the eternal spiritual you, will either go to Heaven or Hell.

There is no opting out.  There is no third choice.

Heaven or hell.

If you refuse to decide, or procrastinate, the default choice is Hell.  Only those who make a conscious, active choice, and complete all of the necessary steps will get to Heaven.

OIC Preparing to Attack Israel? The Powder Keg & Fuse

The OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) may be preparing to attack Israel, just as Ezekiel 37-38 predicted in 571 BC.  This is obviously a key part of the Satan's End Times plan against God.

The Powder Keg

President Trump announced on Dec. 7, 2017 that the US Embassy would be moving to Jerusalem.

Just 5 days later, on Dec. 12, 2017 Yeni Şafak  published the trial balloon article "A Call for Urgent Action".

Yeni Şafak is a conservative Turkish daily newspaper. The newspaper is known for its hardline support of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his AK Parti, and has a very close relationship with the Turkish government.

MEMRI (Middle East Media Research Institute) has  translated to English this newspaper's urgent call to war by OIC's Islamic forces against Israel.

This op-ed piece was written by SADAT (a Turkish equivalent of USA's Blackwater (renamed Academi, a private paramilitary group of mercenaries).  SADAT supports Jerusalem and Hamas (terrorists a.k.a. freedom fighters), and their governance of the Palastinian Gaza Strip.  SADAT's article was published just days before the OIC meeting held in Istanbul on Dec. 13, 2017.

OIC issued a statement of solidarity with Palestinians and Al Quds (Islamic name for Jerusalem) after their summit.

Turkey is the current President of OIC.  Since then, Turkey called an emergency meeting of OIC on May 18, 2018 to discuss Al Quds (Jerusalem) again.

On August 15, 2018 Qatari's Emir Tamim Hamed Aal Thani announced $15 Billion in aid for Turkey in its ongoing diplomatic and economic sanctions battle with USA.

On Aug. 17, 2018 Israel's IDF forces blocked all Muslims from accessing the al-Aksa Mosque in Jerusalem after a 30-year-old Israeli Arab was suspected of attempting to stab a Jerusalem police officer, and was shot dead.

Jordan (the trustee for all Islamic sites in Jerusalem), PLO, and others protested these unilateral and alleged illegal actions by Israel.

The Fuse

Anybody wanting to start an Israeli-Muslim war will may use the al-Aksa Mosque as the fuse leading to the powder keg described above; OIC or otherwise.  The other possible target is Mecca.

To be clear, under no circumstances do I encourage nor condone illegal activities, nor violence, nor racism, nor bigotry.  As a Born Again Christian, I love everybody equally  and encourage everybody to do likewise.

According to many Muslims, any person doing non-Muslim prayers on Temple Mount is unacceptable.

Starting in the 1930's, Muslims have made many accusations against Israel, Jews, and Christians that they were plotting to destroy the al-Aqsa mosque.  Most or all of these allegations were unfounded.

Israel captured Jerusalem from Jordon during the 1967 Six Day War.  In spite of that, and despite thousands of years of yearning for Jewish sovereignty over Judaism’s holiest sites, Moshe Dayan, then Israeli defense minister, relinquished control of the Temple Mount to the Waqf (Islamic authorities in Jordon) shortly thereafter.

Historically, Jews and Christians can only attend Temple Mount as tourists, but no singing nor prayers nor demonstrations are allowed.  The 1994 Wadi Araba Agreement (a peace treaty between Jordan and Israel) mandated Jordan’s Religious Endowments Authority (ie. the Waqf) with overseeing all Muslim and Christian holy sites in Israeli-occupied East Jerusalem.

In Year 2000, a visit to Al-Aqsa (Temple Mount) by controversial Israeli politician Ariel Sharon sparked a years-long popular uprising against the Israeli occupation in which thousands of Palestinians lost their lives.

On Mar. 3, 2015 an Israeli Court ruled that Jews must be permitted to pray on Temple Mount provided there isn't overriding security reasons  to prevent it.  Despite the ruling, which appeared to affirm the right of non-Muslims to pray on the Mount, no changes were made to police policy on the Temple Mount, and no directives made by the court to the State to alter its policy.

To cope with the 2015 Court ruling, Israel installed metal detectors at all entrances to Temple Mount to detect and prevent weapons from entering this contentious holy area.  When the metal detectors caused huge protests by Muslims, they were removed.  With the metal detectors gone, three Israeli Arab Muslims entered Temple Mount with guns and killed two Israeli policemen.

After the killings, the metal detectors were re-installed, and the Islamic Police on Temple Mount (Islamic Trust's Waqf) went on a wildcat strike in protest to the metal detectors.  On Jul. 17, 2017 Jewish & Christian prayers began on Temple Mount again in earnest, free from harassment by the Temple Mount's Waqf Islamic Police.

On August 11, 2018, the Moked: Israeli Center for Advancing Democracy and Protecting Human Rights filed a petition with the Israeli Supreme Court to get full religious freedom brought to Temple Mount.

is a guaranteed powder keg that can prompt OIC and Turkey to immediate
actions against Israel.

More recently, on Sept. 3, 2018 a group of radical Israeli settlers started doing Talmudic prayers and other Jewish religious rituals on the Al-Aksa mosque compound, and were protected by Israeli Special Police.  Muslims on site grew more and more upset as this demonstration continued.

Slow but sure, the matter and anti-matter on Temple Mount are being brought closer & closer together.  When they finally touch, the fuse will be lit, and the powder keg will explode.

Devil's Hegemony

God's End Time process is similar to a chess game with Satan; move and counter-move.

Earth has been Satan's domain for quite some time, likely soon after the Fall of Adam & Eve.  The Bible tells us that Satan has a prince in control or influencing most or all kingdoms.  For example:

• Apostle Paul wrote, "We have a wrestling, not against blood and flesh, but against the governments, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the wicked spirit forces in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12)
   
• One of God's Angels sent to Daniel was delayed by 21 days, saying, "The prince [ie. devil overseeing] of the royal realm of Persia was standing in opposition to me for twenty-one days.”​—Daniel 10:2, 13.
• This same Angel subsequently said he would once again have to fight against “the prince of Persia” and another demon prince, “the prince of Greece.”​—Daniel 10:20.

When one government is exercising power and control over a different sovereign government, it's called hegemony.  Hegemony can be practiced by military, economic, energy, food, currency, cultural, political, trade, and many other avenues.

Babylon, Medeo-Persia, Alexander The Great, Greece, Imperial Rome, Papal Rome, England, and United States have all been recognized as leading hegemonic powers in their days.  I suggest Satan and his evil princes have been at or near each of these thrones of power; as well as the secondary powers who opposed the obvious leader.

Today, Satan battles with currency exchange, world finance, food, wealth concentration, and military arms.  To see what Satan is up to, let's look at some of the currency wars going on today.  If we are truly in End Times, today's currency hegemony should closely align with the Biblical prophecies for End Times.

Turkey

Foreign Exchange Rate between US$ and Turkish Lira

Turkey has a population of 80.8 million, is a NATO ally, 98% of the population are Muslim, and 85% are Sunni Muslim (ie. similar to Saudi Arabia).

More & more for the last 2 decades, there has been a growing riff between USA and Turkey.  US hegemony is in high gear trying to exert pressure on Turkey to stay away from Russia, and fully align with US foreign policy.

While this hegemony rages, the people of Turkey suffer more and more.  Inflation, as measured by PPP, rages as high as 39.2% per annum in May 2018.

US$ to Turkish lira exchange rate has exploded in a similar fashion, from 1.18 Lira/US$ in Aug 2008 to 7.0 Lira/US$ in Aug. 2018; a 593% increase in 10 years.  Purchases of foreign energy, technology, vehicles, and food are the hardest hit.  There is a limit on how long this will be allowed to continue.  Either the people will riot against their leaders (who risk a coup), or the government will force the people to rally behind them by some propaganda program or war.  The choices are limited, similar to the Arab Spring in 2010.

Iran has 80.3 million people, 99.3% who are Muslim, and 93% are Shia Muslims.  Similar to Turkey, Ian suffers under US hegemony.  The US has held a grudge against Iran since the coup against the CIA-installed Shaw in 1979, and the storming of the US Embassy and hostage taking for 444 days from 1979 - 1981.  The latest excuse for US persecution is the allegation that Iran is building a nuclear bomb.  When the 2015 nuclear deal between Tran and world powers was rejected by US President Trump in May 2018, economic, financial, and trade sanctions were snapped back into place, partly in August 2018, and the balance on Nov. 5, 2018.

Under previous sanctions, the people of Iran suffered greatly.  There have been spontaneous riots in Iranian streets with no need for CIA involvement.  Recently the streets of Iran have heard spontaneous chants of "Death to Khomeini".  As crowds were leaving an Iranian soccer stadium, chants of "Death to the Dictator" were reported.

Knowing what the life-long sanctions have been like in the past, Iranians will do almost anything to avoid them again.

It is unclear how Sunni Turkey and Shia Iran (sworn enemies of each other), may suddenly agree to work co-operatively against Israel and USA.  Perhaps it's as simple as "The enemy of my enemy is my friend"

It has been reported that US is ready to pull out of Syria as soon as Iran has left Syria.  Putin has agreed to turn a blind eye towards US Special Forces and Israeli Air Force acting against Iranian troops and supplies inside Syria.  Hezbollah has had a falling out with the Iranian Major-General responsible for training troops inside Syria, so Hezbollah has pulled all their troops out of Syria and returned to Lebanon.  This cut the troops under the Iranian Major-General in half.  As Iranian operations inside Syria are attacked, and Iranians at home are squeezed by US sanctions, a breaking point will soon be reached.

Iran has almost 200,000 GPS-guided rockets ready to launch against Israel.  They have obtained Sarin nerve gas, Mustard Gas, and Liquid Chlorine gas for adding to these rockets.  Israeli Defense Force (IDF) has the Iron Dome anti-missile system deployed, but it doesn't have the necessary capacity against the 200,000 rockets of Iran, Hezbollah (Lebanon), and Hamas (Gaza Strip).  Once the conflict begins, experts estimate Israel can last up to 72 hours.  After that, if the rocket barrage continues, especially with poison gas warheads, Israel may be forced to go nuclear.  The US may be forced to step in to save Israel from certain destruction.

Under this scenario, Psalm 83, Ezekiel 38, 39, 29:10-12, Isaiah 17:1, and Zechariah 12:2-3 are highly correlated with recent history and God's End Time process.

Devil's Driving Forces

Things are moving rapidly towards the End Times.  God is making moves.  The Devil is also making moves.  It is somewhat like a spiritual chess game.  Move and counter move.

Psalm 83, Ezekiel 38, 39, 29:10-12, Isaiah 17:1, and Zechariah 12:2-3 are likely all associated with the End Time process.  However, we don't know the sequence, nor when they will occur.

What we do know from these prophesies is that the King of the North (likely Turkey, with its capital Ankara due North of Jerusalem), Persia (today's Iran), Egypt (from Mediterranean to Aswan High Dam), Libya, Ethiopia, and many other Islamic countries around Israel are involved in the End Times.

What will cause an even greater de-stabilization of the Middle East?  Based on the following, all of the Middle East is becoming an even greater powder keg, perhaps approaching unstable nitroglycerine.

• The EU has passed a blocking regulation that orders are EU corporations to continue commercial contracts and dealings wih Iran, and blocks all sanctions against them that might be imposed by USA.
• Iran has held war games in the Strait of Hormuz (between Saudia Arabia and Iran), through which 1/3 of all the world's oil flows on a daily basis, and has threatened to block the straits if the US imposes sanctions against Iran.
• Iranians are protesting in the streets against the rapidly approaching snapback of US sanctions against Iran.  Many have died.  Also see here.
• Iran has an exploding rate of inflation, reaching as high as 65% per year.

• Today, hours before the US sanctions are set to re-start, Iran is suddenly ready to discuss and negotiate so as to avoid the US sanctions.
• As Iran's currency collapses, Iranians are buying gold as a hedge against inflation.
• President Trump has warned all US allies that any violation of US sanctions against Iran will be dealt with swiftly and severely.
• The Turkish lira has devalued by 20% in the last 3 months (ie. 80%/yr), and Turkish government bond yields have more than doubled in the last 3 years (19%+ interest rate).  This places huge pressures on both the people and the government.
• Turkey has seized the banking assets of US government officials in Turkey as retaliation against US sanctions against Turkey.

For all the above moves on the chess board, I am unsure which moves belong to God, which are the Devil's, or just silly humans arguing and fighting.

Time will tell.

However, we can be assured that the time is short, and The End is near.  With all of the above driving forces (and many more similar ones soon to appear), I estimate a major war in the Middle East on or before November 2018, likely ending in a nuclear exchange by Israel, Russia, USA, China, and/or North Korea.  Not to be left out, once the A-bombs start to fly, India and Pakistan may have a go at each other to settle old scores.

• Are You a Full, True Christian?  They are the only ones who go to Heaven, the rest go to Hell
• Roadmap to Heaven (or Hell if you make a wrong turn)
•  God's 13 Commandments for Christians (if you purposefully break one or more of these Commandments on a regular basis, this is a sign that you are not Born Again, and will likely be turned away by Jesus as an unknown stranger and fake Christian, sending you to Hell).

Gog of Magog Attacks Israel

It's likely that Gog of Magog will soon attack Israel.  Who is this, when will it occur, and what will be the impact on the rest of the world?

Many people around the world say,

"There's been fighting in the Middle East for thousands of years.  Tell me something new.  I live over here, a long ways away.  Who cares!"

Obviously, we have many people who are turned off, tuned out, and have become cold, jaded, and disinterested in the plight of the Middle East.

Maybe it's time for you to pay attention, for what occurs in the Middle East will soon slap you in the face.

God's Bible at Ezekiel 38-39 tells about the 200 million people of Turkey, Iran, Libya, and Sudan attacking the 8.5 million people of Israel.  The Bible doesn't tell us when, but one probable scenario of how this comes about is as follows:

1. Starting in Jan. 2016, President Obama paid Iran a total of  $1.7 Billion in cash, and these funds were used in part to help fund the design, manufacturing, and distribution of rockets and WMD's for use against Israel.
   
    
2. Terrorists (ie. Hezbollah, Hamas, ISIS, and others) who are funded & supported by Iran, will attack Israel from Syria and Gaza Strip with 150,000 rockets; some that have GPS or similarly deadly accurate guidance systems.  Some of these rockets will use conventional explosives, but thousands of them have been modified to carry chlorine gas, mustard gas, and/or Sarin nerve gas (biological & chemical weapons of mass destruction, WMD).
    
3. After 1 or 2 days under continuous attack by rockets and conventional troops, Israel will have its back against the wall, with few options for defending itself from total annihilation.  Israel and/or USA will then nuke Damascus Syria so as to stop the relentless attack against Israel.
   
4. While Turkey is currently a member of NATO, relations have been strained and getting significantly worse for some time now.  Turkey, Iran, Libya, and Sudan are all Shia Muslim majority countries that will become enraged against Israel (whom they call "Little Satan") &/or USA (who is called "Big Satan").  In retalliation for the nuking of Damascus Syria, all of these countries will co-ordinate a simulaneous, co-ordinated attack against Israel.
   
5. Turkey, Iran, Libya, and/or Sudan are nuked by Israel and/or USA as a response, and attempt at stopping their attack upon Israel.
   
6. Russia, totally pissed at the 70 years of being poked with a sharp stick by USA and others, finally lose their cool by the attack on its ally Syria, the nuclear destruction of Damascus Syria, and the nuclear attack on Turkey, Iran, Libya, and Sudan.  Russia will co-ordinate with its allies China, N. Korea, and possibly others; all of whom will attack simultaneously attack Israel, USA, and all NATO countries in all-out nuclear war, where 2.5 Billion people are vaporized.  India and Pakistan (and others with long simmering blood feuds) will also see this as an ideal time to attack & defeat their life-long enemies.  The rest of us who are still alive after WW3 are plunged into a nuclear winter and radiation poisoning.

Do you still insist that the Middle East is far far away, and of no concern in your life?

What is the solution to all of this chaos, death, and destruction?

The best and only answer is Jesus Christ and His triumphant return.  You had better get right with Jesus ASAP, before all of this begins.  Once it starts, you may soon run out of time to prepare and save yourself and your loved ones.
