We live in troubled times. The 7 years of God's End Times likely begin on or about Sept. 17-28, 2020 with many tribulations occurring soon thereafter (ie. evil events by Satan &/or judgements by God).
If you suddenly die before you are a Born Again, True Christian, you are doomed to eternity in Hell. With End Times starting soon, many more people (thousands to millions to billions more) will die through Satan's evil plans. DO NOT ignore this warning, nor procrastinate!
Here is what you need to know, and take immediate action on:
If we are in a pandemic, does this excuse murder, &/or police brutality?
Chicago, Baltimore, Minneapolis, and other cities seem to think so.
If racism and police brutalityoccur, does this justify riots, looting, arson, and other crimes?
Recent history seems to suggest some believe this to be justified.
Do the mistakes, negligence, and/or racism by some in a police system justify throwing the baby out with the bath wster, and the total dismantling of the system?
Some have proposed de-funding the police, firing all police, and eliminating the US National Guard system.
Can this be justified? Is it wise, or a foolish over-reaction?
Pastor Dr. John MacArthur, from Grace To You Church in Los Angeles, California searches for answers in the Bible.
I have listened to his message. It may not be the perfect sermon as God would have spoken, but it's close enough for guidance of us wicked humans until the 2nd Coming of Christ, and His definitive answer on this tulmultuous subject
Are some or all of her allegations about George Floyd, Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and the subsequent protests, rioting, & looting true?
If one or more of these allegations are false, Candice Owens needs to be publicly exposed, and the public record corrected.
If one or more of these allegations are true, these truths need to be clearly communicated to all persons, in hope that they help resolve or prevent future polarization and conflict.
It appears to me that the main stream media has been promoting Black Lives Matters, and the righteous indignation of the protesters.
I suggest that the duty of main stream media is to distribute all the important news in a truthful, fair, & balanced manner.
Media should reflect society's currect values.
Media should not attempt to create nor promote different social values, just because liberal "woke" activists desire it.
Unfortunately, most mainstream media are not providing balanced reporting. They are mainly cheerleaders of Black Lives Matter, totally accepting everything BLM says, support BLM's policies, and pretend that BLM's demands are reasonable, and the only possible solution.
None of that is true.
That's the main point of Pastor MacArthur's sermon:
Christians are accused of arrogance, judgemental attitudes, and exaggeration when we insist that Christianity and Jesus Christ is fully sufficient in of itself, and exclusively the only true religion.
Nobody needs anything more than Jesus Christ.
For example, a convicted thief met Jesus Christ while they were beside each other; each on their own cross of crucifixion. There was no time for baptism, prayers, communion, nor any other religious dogma. The thief accepted that Jesus was the Son of God, and asked Jesus to remember him when Jesus reached Heaven. Jesus assured the thief that he would be with Jesus in Heaven. Simple as that.
Christianity is exclusive. That means that only Christianity offers a guaranteed entrance into Heaven for all those who truly believe in Jesus. Of course, true believer follow God's Laws, and Jesus' teachings, and do not chronically practice sin.
Jesus performed miracles so that people would recognize Him as God. The Bible describes 37 miracles, and states in John 21:25 that many more were done, beyond these 37 miracles.
There are 44 prophecies in the Old Testament which predicted and described the life of Jesus Christ (see Bible37Miracles44PropheciesOfJesusChrist ). These prophecies were made during a period from 4,000 BC to 150 BC. These Old Testament prophecies are supported by the historical writings by Prophets, first and second hand witnesses of the life of Jesus Christ (Jesus' Apostles, Disciples, and others), as well as Roman, Greek, Jewish, and other historians who were alive at that time.
By all of this evidence, it is reasonable to conclude all of the objective evidence points to Jesus Christ being a real, historical person who did numerous miracles, claimed to be God, convinced thousands of people that He was God, lived a righteous life, made numerous prophecies that all came true, was falsely convicted, crucified, died, was buried, and ascended to Heaven 3 days after His death.
To conclude anything else is to ignore the strong, irrefutable objective facts that we have in our possession today.
If someone performs miracles and rises from the dead, I have made a personal policy decision to believe them when they claim to be God. I suggest you do likewise.
Other World Religions
Muslims are required to do continual prayers and good works. Islam
claims that Allah takes note of all events in a person's life, assigning
weights (good or bad) to every event, then Allah decides if a person has done
sufficient good works to warrant heaven. You never know, until it's too
late, how Allah will decide your case.
Hindu claims reincarnation, but who decides if you get to move up or down; worm, dog, bird, human, or something else. In the end, you can cycle around and around forever, never exiting from the reincarnation cycle.
Atheism is a belief in the empty null set, that no God exists; one shot through life, then nothing. Agnostics aren't sure about God, and can continuously raise another doubt to procrastinate their final decision about God still longer. Either way, they get to do as they please with no absolute limits on their thoughts, words, or deeds; except as they choose to self-impose.
We have discussed 3 major religions, there are 4 more to consider for a total of 7 major world religions.
No other world religion offers what Christianity offers.
Some religions make spurious, non-verifiable claims. Only Christianity has the Bible to support and verify all claims made.
If it sounds too good to be true, it likely is untrue. Buyer beware of non-Christian religions!
Comparison Shopping
With the power of the Internet, people can easily do comparison shopping. You can more easily find the product, style, colour, features, price, and other characteristics that you seek without leaving home. While you may compare Walmart vs. Amazon, is it OK to compare all the world religions before choosing one?
I am not sure if it's a sin to compare all the different religions before choosing one specific religion to follow. However Christianity is not a smorgasbord, where you can pick or choose what goes on your plate, for your own customized version of Christianity.
If you try to pick and choose the aspects of Christianity you like, and reject the parts you don't like, then you are creating your own false god; not the God of the Bible. A "cult" is defined as a religion that does not accept all Biblical doctrine, or adds additional doctrines to the Bible.
Mormons claim they believe in Jesus Christ, but the Mormon Jesus, as described in the Book of Mormon and other Mormon doctrine is not the same Jesus as described in the Bible.
Muslims claim to believe in the Prophet Jesus Christ. However the Jesus described in the Qu'ran is not the same as the Jesus described in the Bible. Allah is not the same as God of the Bible.
Worshiping a non-Bible Jesus is blasphamy. Creating your own custom designed god is also blasphemy, and contrary to the 2nd Commandment (see Exodus 20:3):
Thou shalt have no other gods before Me [God].
True Christians believe in:
the Jesus Christ described in the Bible
the teachings of Jesus Christ described in the Bible, and
Full stop, no additions, no deletions. The New Testament describes all of this. If you're missing one of more of these, you are not a True Christian; you're a mirage, a make-believe Christian, a false Christian, an imposter.
Fake Christians
Jesus can see all of your heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit. Jesus knows if you are a True Christian, or a fake. In Matthew 7:20-23, Jesus Christ said:
"Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, 'Lord, Lord', shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in Heaven. Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?'
And then will I profess unto them, 'I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.' "
Iniquity is unrepented, chronic sin. Iniquity is deadly. Iniquity annuls your status of "Born Again". Those who practice iniquity will be thrown into the Lake of Fire, to be burned and tormented for ever and ever.
Contrasting with the above, when True Christians reach Heaven, True Christians will hear Jesus Christ say something similar to Matthew 25:23:
"Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast
been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many
things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord."
Buying The Whole, Indivisible Jesus Christ
Jesus believed, quoted from, and included the Old Testament in His teachings. In Matthew 5:17-18, Jesus said:
"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.For
verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one
tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."
If you profess that you believe in Jesus, and Jesus is described by the New Testament, and in the New Testament, Jesus supported and included the Old Testaments, then we conclude that believing in Jesus requires believe in both the Old Testament and the New Testament. Therefore true Christians believe in the whole Bible.
If a sect, denomination, Pastor, Priest, or Minister adds or subtracts or denies all or part of the Bible, then they are not true Christians.
Properly Interpreting the Christian Bible
The Bible is an essential part of Christianity. Therefore properly interpreting the Bible is essential.
However, everyone must regard the speaker, the intended audience, and proper context of the Bible, so as to rightly divide the Word as 2 Timothy 2:15 says:
"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
We don't impose definitions upon the Bible, we let the Bible define itself. We don't propose interpretations in one verse that conflict with other verses. We seek two or three witnesses to consistently agree so as to settle Biblical doctrine.
Biblical word study and doctrine takes hard work, patience, logic, and in depth study to apprehend the infinite nature of God in our insufficient mortal minds.
God will reveal the important aspects, while the finer points may remain mysteries.
While we can apprehend the essentials about God, we won't be able to fully comprehend God. That's where faith comes in.
Act Now While You Still Can
There isn't much time left, as the Great Tribulation will soon begin (sometime between now & Nov. 1, 2019 ???).
Every second, approximately 2 people die somewhere on Earth (approximately 164,000 people per day). Their sudden, unexpected death is likely a shock to the ones affected.
Once you die, it's too late to accept Jesus as your Saviour. Procrastination is fatal to the infinite power of eternity. A big mistake!
If you aren't Born Again before you die, you are guaranteed a 1-way ticket to Hell.
I don't want you to go to Hell. I am a good and faithful Watchman, who wants to warn you of the danger so I don't have your blood on my hands. If you don't heed the Watchman's warning, your blood will be on your own hands.
Come to Jesus. Come today. Come now, before it's too late.
Here is Ravi Zacharia speaking at the Mormon Temple about the sufficiency and exclucivity of Jesus Christ and Christianity (55 minutes):
Jesus is pure, 100% Truth and Love, and therefore pure white light. Satan is 100% Lies and Hate, and therefore pure blackness. Humans are God's lost sheep wandering in the gray wilderness area between Jesus and Satan.
Truth can be used as a weapon. I have seen (and personally experienced) the use of truth as a weapon.
What is truth without love?
When someone claims they love somebody, they will sometimes shelter the object of their "love" from the full truth. White lies are told. Part truths are told, where the "not so nice" parts are left out. Part truths are sugar coated. The story is twisted and coloured to the advantage of the one speaking.
"In war-time, truth is so precious that she should always be attended by a bodyguard of lies".
With the amount of lying that occurs today, we all must be in a continuous state of war.
What is love without truth?
Love depends upon trust.
Trust is created and nurtured and protected by 4 mandatory factors:
Benevolent best interest in the other party (ie. love)
Open & honest communication (ie. Truth)
Competency
Predictable behaviour
If one or more of these 4 factors are missing, weak, or violated, trust is quickly stopped, or reduced, or destroyed. Trust should take a significant period of time (and a number of sequential event) to slowly arise naturally.
Only Jesus can be fully trusted forever. Period. End of story.
Trusting humans isn't so easy. Many people make the mistake of trusting too much or too quickly. Others trust too little or too late. All of these extreme cases have significant losses, risks, and dysfunctional outcomes. Even when we trust the right amount at the right time, we are sometimes disappointed by a breach of our precious trust.
While trust can take a long time to form, it is usually destroyed in the blink of an eye.
Jesus embodies both truth and love simultaneously.
Jesus said there is no truth in Satan. Inside Satan, there is pure hate for all that is good.
We humans are like lost sheep that wander in the gray area between Jesus and Satan. We nibble the grass here, then go over there for what seems like good reasons at the time. Often, there is little or no awareness, a lack of caring, miserly sharing, intermittent perseverance, a mediocre rate of improvement, and unclear or unspecific goals in our lives. For the most part, we humans do as we please. We run away to a different area when the consequences get too painful or risky.
If Satan starts to nip at our heels, we run a little closer to Jesus so as to be under His protection. As soon as the immediate danger passes, we wander back to the darker shades of gray as we please. In other words, most of us lack any visible commitment and consistency in our behaviors, and half-hearted allegiance to Jesus Christ. Most of us are mediocre Christians, luke warm at best.
Most people don't realize we are now in End Times. Times have changed. We need to change too.
The geographical size of the gray area is shrinking fast. The shade of gray is getting a darker and darker. Soon there will be a chronic shortage of the gray area that remains,, and an uncomfortable shade of gray (ie. a significant lack of light) . As the gray area disappears more & more, we humans will soon be forced to choose: Pure White or Pure Black.
If you fail to choose, Pure Black is the default, with you eventually being tossed into the Lake of Fire with eternal suffering.
You must make a conscious, express choice of Jesus Christ, Heaven, light, white, and everlasting life.
Choose soon.
Make sure all your family, friends, and neighbours understand the important choice that must soon be made.
We are soon coming into battle against the dark forces of the Devil and his powerful wickedness.
While the truth and light of Jesus Christ will eventually win the battle overall, there will be some casualties and collateral damage.
It is the duty of all good soldiers to adequately prepare themselves for battle, and put on the available armor prior to battle.
In Ephesians 6:10-17, Paul writes from Rome unto the Christian church of the Ephesians, an ancient prosperous Greek colonial city on the Mediterranean, on the South-West coastline of present day Turkey.
The Full Armor of God
10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12For
we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13Wherefore
take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand
in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Here we learn that all Christians have both Defensive Armour and Offensive Weapons:
Defensive Armour
Truth
Righteousness
Knowledge of the Gospel (ie. New Testament)
Faith
Trust in Jesus' Salvation
Offensive Weapons
Holy Spirit, and the Word of God.
You can't sit on the couch with snacks, binge watching your favorite Netflicks shows (or similar), then suddenly stand up and decide you will go compete that same day in the Olympics and win the Gold Metal.
The world doesn't work that way.
There will be no cell phones nor Internet at the moments of crisis. You will be unable to thumb through a book to quickly find something to help.
The Devil will know his lines. The Devil has memorized his propaganda and rehearsed his lies.
Will you know your Bible and other resources by memory, and be able to recall them during moment when you feel the most fear and stress you have ever experienced?
You need to practice, train, and prepare on a dedicated basis. If you don't, somebody will get hurt and/or disappointed, or will suffer greatly
If you aren't able to battle effectively at the time, maybe one person, maybe millions will be injured, killed, or may take the Mark of the Beast because they had no other pragmatic choice at the time, because one or more of God's warrior wasn't there on-time, or was poorly prepared.
The Devil plays for keeps. This isn't a practice drill. We have one chance of getting this done right.
Will you fail, or take the easy way out, or subject others to fending for themselves?
